Why Desi Cow is the cultural heritage of India?

Holy cow is the Scientific, Sociological, Cultural and Religious Heritage of India?

In an important decision, the Allahabad High Court has demanded that the cow be given the status of a national animal, saying that the cow has an important place in Indian culture. Cow is known as mother in the country of India and is worshiped like deities. Cow is not just an animal for India, but it is the center of people's faith. After mother's milk, only cow's milk is considered as nectar. Cow procreation is the need of the country. The work of conservation and promotion of cow is not only of any one religion, sect or government, but cow is the culture of India and the work of saving the culture is the responsibility of every citizen living in the country. Whether he is a worshiper of any religion.

The Cow in History and Hindu Tradition and Scientific facts about Indian cows
The importance of cow in Hinduism has not remained because India was an agricultural country in ancient times and it is still today and cow was considered the backbone of the economy. There are other countries like India, which have been agricultural, but there the cow did not get as much importance as in India.

In fact, there have been some spiritual, religious and medical reasons for the importance of cow in Hinduism. Cow is the only animal whose everything is useful in the service of all. Apart from cow's milk, urine, cow dung, ghee, curd, buttermilk, butter etc. are all very useful. Scientists say that cow is the only animal that takes in oxygen and releases oxygen, while all other animals, including humans, take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. Plants do just the opposite. Nowadays the land is also becoming poisonous due to which the toxicity of the plants growing in it is increasing. For this we have to use cow dung manure, only then our land can be saved. For this we have to save the cow.

Why do we Need to Protect our Indigenous Indian Cows
Cow is the pride of our culture. Many people often take the importance of cow lightly but are unaware of the fact that the livelihood of crores of families of the country runs from this cow. Cow service has always been the focal point of Indian lifestyle and economy. There is no alternative to this for our nation with specialties like rural head and agricultural head. Gaumata has played a paramount role in strengthening the dairy sector of India.

Cowmother has been doing the welfare of mankind for centuries. Some time ago, Justice of Allahabad High Court had also given an important judgment saying that cow has an important place in Indian culture. The importance of cow has been highlighted in detail in Indian scriptures, Puranas and scriptures and leaders and rulers of various religions in India have always talked about cow protection. Article 48 of the Constitution of India also talks about preserving the breed of cow and prohibiting cow slaughter. Cow slaughter is banned in many states of India.

The specialties of Indian cow breeds
Most breeds give very little milk. Most of them have been specifically developed for hard work on the farm over the centuries. Hardly 4-5 breeds give good amount of milk. If we blame other draft breeds for less milk, then it is our fault. Milk was not a marketable product in the olden days. It was not even needed. Each farmer had at least 10 -20 animals. Even a meager amount of milk from 5-6 cows of the herd was sufficient for the consumption of his family. The amazing diversity of Indian cattle breeds has attracted other parts of the world for centuries. 98% of the cattle population in Brazil is derived from Indian breeds like Ongole and Gir. He developed a fine breed called Brahmin by cross breeding with Jibu breed. Britain has used the genes of Hallikar, an Indian breed, to develop resistance against foot-and-mouth disease.

Why do Indians love holy cows so much?
ow is the culture of India and the task of saving the culture is the responsibility of every citizen living in the country, irrespective of the religion he worships. 33 crore deities have been said to reside in the body of Gaumata. That is why it has been said in the scriptures that merely by worshiping Gaumata one gets the fruit of worshiping 33 crore gods and goddesses of the universe. Lord Buddha attained Buddhahood from the milk made from cow's milk given by Sujata. The glory of Gaumata has also been sung in the Bible and the Quran. And the entire cow lineage has been considered essential for the survival, protection, nutrition, development and promotion of human beings.
