It is believed that this keeps the abode of Lakshmi. In ancient times, sages and saints used to take bath by rubbing mud and cow dung on their body.

According to the scriptures, mother Ganga resides in cow urine. That's why in Ayurveda it is also advised to drink cow urine for treatment. Even scientifically, cow dung has been said to be beneficial in skin diseases and cow urine in many diseases.

Recently, a court in Gujarat said that cow is not just an animal, but a mother. If it’s killing is stopped, all the problems of the earth will be solved. In its statement, the court told that there is no effect of atomic radiation in houses made of cow dung. Even incurable diseases can be cured with cow urine. Earlier only cow's milk used to earn, but ever since the slogan of eco-friendly has been raised, since then various products are being made from cow dung to cow urine.

Nowadays, cow dung is also being used in making cooking gas, indigenous manure and bio-fertilizers. Paint, paper, bags, bricks, cow wood and even dental floss are being made from it.

That's why it is also used during worship. Govardhan Puja is performed on Pareva, which falls on the second day of Diwali. In this worship, Govardhans are made from cow dung and they are worshipped. In ancient times, smearing the house with cow dung was considered very auspicious. Even today it is considered auspicious. Actually, Goddess Lakshmi resides in cow dung. That's why women make art with cow dung at the main door of the house or they coat the whole wall with cow dung.

Even today in many houses, he is worshiped by making a square with cow dung on the wall. At the same time, the wall, roof and ground are also coated with cow dung in the villages. Many people in the cities put a little cow dung on both sides of their main gate and paste kalava on it, this is also considered an auspicious sign. Since mythological times, there is a practice of covering the houses with cow dung in the village. Cow dung has been called gold in the scriptures. Not only is it auspicious according to Vastu, but it is also a science to keep it safe from insects.

Cow Dung - Boon for farmers
World-renowned scientist Albert Einstein had said, "With the use of tractors and chemical fertilizers, the fertile land of countries like America will be destroyed in 400 years, while the fertility of land in India, where agriculture is cow-based, has not reduced at all."

Due to the increasing use of chemicals, our agriculture is becoming barren and the ground water is also getting polluted. To eliminate this problem from the root, now farmers are being motivated to do zero budget natural farming. This farming is completely based on cow, in which Jeevamrit, Bijamrit, Panchgavya, Sanjeevak, Nadef compost etc. are made from cow dung and cow urine.

If the policy of the whole country is especially dynamic towards Cow-based economy, then the farmers will not have to commit suicide or migrate to the cities and the Gauvansh will also be protected. It cannot be denied that the problems of the farmers, the end of hundreds of diseases is actually possible only by rearing cows.
